Join LANO for a basic training on Financial Management for Nonprofits. This session is designed for both nonprofit staff and board members. Information will be presented on topics critical to assessing your organization’s fiscal health. Participants will learn how to foster greater accountability and transparency through sound financial management and leadership. Topics include:
- Basic Accounting Practices and Policies for Nonprofits
- Internal Controls and Conflict of Interest
- The Board’s Role and Responsibilities for Fiscal Oversight
- Financial Statements and Critical Monitoring Questions
- State and Federal Requirements
