LANO is proud to be a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection thanks to the generous support of our partners and funders. As part of the Collection, nonprofit professionals have access by appointment to the Foundation Center's online directories and LANO's resource libraries at LANO's regional office in New Orleans and at the Community Foundation of Acadiana in Lafayette.

Foundation Directory Online provides the most current, accurate, and comprehensive information available on over 98,000 U.S. grantmakers and their grants, drawn from reliable sources, including IRS Form 990s, grantmaker web sites and annual reports, and the grantmakers themselves. The searchable database allows users to select key words to identify the grantmakers that are the best match with their organization and project.
Other valuable services offered by The Foundation Center:
Philanthropy In/Sight is an interactive tool that allows users to quickly create maps that reveal patterns of giving and funding relationships as never before. The tool is available at all Foundation Center locations.
GrantSpace offers information and resources that are specifically designed to meet the needs of nonprofits worldwide in need of know-how for securing funding and operating effective organizations. It's available for free on your desktop and a great way to increase your expertise in fund development and follow trends in philanthropy.
The LANO Foundation Center is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at our New Orleans location. LANO staff is available to provide technical assistance on an appointment basis.
